Two companies, PowerFilm Solar and Dracula Technologies, caught attention with their promotion of small solar films designed to power embedded solutions. While these films might not generate a large amount of energy, they could be beneficial for sensor-equipped devices.

The conference also highlighted companies offering innovative long-lasting batteries, ranging from standalone units to thin, chip-like ones. A standout was a standard AA battery featuring a USB charging slot. e-peas, a company specializing in power management integrated circuits (PMICs) for energy harvesting, showcased solutions to extend battery lifespan. ITEN, another company, produces rechargeable 3D solid-state micro-batteries that operate across a wide temperature range. They can have a lifespan of 10 to 20 years.

For those in the architecture field, eLogicTech showcased their expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM), Engineering services (CAM/CAE), and IoT development.

Very Technologies was present, offering innovative IoT solutions that deliver strong business value.

Planoptik, a recurring exhibitor, continued to fascinate attendees with their printed circuits on thin glasses, onto which customers can mount additional devices.

In the realm of imaging, PxE's holographic imaging technology stood out. It can capture high-resolution color images, combining infrared images and pixel-level depth maps in a single snapshot. This technology is three times more sensitive to light than standard cameras making them useful for night vision.

emnify, a company focusing on IoT solutions, offered a range of services, including IoT SIM cards, global IoT coverage, and IoT connectivity platforms. They provide sparse low bandwidth cellular connections for sensors transmitting to the cloud, similar to Soracom. For those needing audio, video, or other high bandwidth services, a regular provider would be necessary. Embedded Works, a technology solutions provider and integrator focused on the wireless and IoT market, provides the world's largest wireless network for IoT devices. Blecon Hotspots provide dedicated hardware and mobile apps for fast and flexible deployment of coverage.

MinewSemi, a global one-stop IoT wireless connectivity module supplier, specializes in developing and producing a wide range of IoT modules.

Occasionally, audio component providers with speakers or low range transmission solutions make an appearance. SELTECH, an international solution provider with deep expertise in acoustics and sensors, offers tailored solutions on custom sound pressure levels, and resonant frequencies.

Interestingly, more ASIC providers showed up than before. Microdul AG, a Swiss partner for advanced microelectronics, masters all implementation stages - from development, ASIC Design, and engineering through production and testing of custom applications. Presto Engineering, recognized for ASIC development and Semiconductor services, helps innovative companies envision and implement solutions for high-value markets such as Medical, Automotive, Industrial, and Communication. Custom Silicon Solutions (CSS), Fraunhofer Institut, and Javelin ASIC Devices specialize in ASIC design and manufacturing services.

Niterra Co., Ltd. specializes in piezoelectric ceramics, which find applications in various advanced fields such as medicine, automobiles, and everyday electronic products like earphones and buzzers.

Morpheus Technology Solutions, Inc., a thriving tailored technology niche company, provides high-quality cloud computing services to businesses of all sizes, including solutions in robotics and vision.

Seco, a manufacturer of high-quality edge devices, was present for those interested in solutions like AMX or Crestron.

Dojo Five, a company focusing on modernizing embedded firmware development, offers tools, techniques, and technologies to optimize embedded software systems, microsensors, and fiber optics.

PIC, a long-standing player in the home appliances industry, was also present.

Gowin, a recurring exhibitor, promoted FPGAs compatible with high volume providers.

Critical Link, a company specializing in FPGA embedded systems engineering, was also present.

Promex, located in Silicon Valley and specializing in intricate microelectronics component assembly for various industries (medical, data, photonics, military), was another notable participant.

Overall, the Sensors Converge conference was a testament to the ever-evolving landscape of sensor technology and its integration with various industries and applications.

FlexTech, a funding and financial company, made an appearance at the event, which typically attracts engineers more than financial firms.

For those needing marketing analysis for a business plan, Roger Grace Associates, a strategic marketing consulting firm specializing in the high-technology industry, was present together with IEEE, who provide consulting services for companies like ours.
